Restaurant Rundown: The Crossings Restaurant and Brew Pub
January 20, 2016
Brown Jug Spirits was created to fill a niche, to provide an all-American range of whiskey-based spirits to be enjoyed with friends, family, strangers, and siblings. We distill our whiskey as an outward expression of our traditional American values.
We are proud to support American jobs and source products that are made here in the U.S.A. We believe in hard work, good fun, and great whiskey. The restaurants and bars that carry our Brown Jug Bourbon Cream and American Spiked Apple believe in the same, which is why we’re so excited to share their stories.
The Crossings Restaurant and Brew Pub in Putnam, CT is our kind of place. Housed in a renovated train station — a Putnam historical landmark — the atmosphere is fun and friendly, with attentive wait staff and live music when the mood strikes. It’s a place where you’ll feel at home whether you’re out for lunch with coworkers or celebrating a birthday well into the night.
At The Crossings, you can enjoy a full pub menu, from wings to burgers to a hearty bowl of chili. Of course, you can drink a variety of house-brewed beers and guest taps, as well as cocktails. Speaking of cocktails, if you find yourself in Putnam, stop by and try their Mudslide, made with our Brown Jug Bourbon Cream . Quite tasty. Just ask the staff at The Crossings and they’ll be happy to make one for you.
Brown Jug Spirits likes to see our spirits in places that are welcoming, catering to not just one – but everyone, and we think they like us too. We’re proud to call The Crossings one of our customers, and hope you enjoy your visit and one of their fun cocktails made with our All-American Spirits.
Restaurant Rundown is part of our ongoing look at locations that carry Brown Jug Spirits. We appreciate our restaurant partners, and know that you, as fans of our product, are always on the lookout for inventive, tasty drinks and new places to eat!
